Evo, the largest competition of fighting games, will once again be face-to-face in 2022

Sports have to live in person, this is so. It is not the same to see an important match through television, twitch or the way to do it in face-to-face, feeling and living the real experience of the competition and breathing the tension that is chewed into the environment. The EVO of 2022 seems to return to the face-to-face format after a long season in which each and every one of the video game events, except for some, of course, have had to be online due to the pandemic of the coronavirus.

So, Eleva Championship Series will once again be face-to-face from August 5 to 7, 2022 in Las Vegas . In addition to that pandemic, on the other hand, EVO of 2021 was not celebrated in face-to-face format due to accusations of sexual abuse over Joey Mr. Wizard Cuellar , which at that time was the direct of the competition. Next we will leave some statements that are made from the same EVO:

These last two years have been a challenge, for saying at least, for many reasons, the world has never experienced things through which we have passed and we are still going through today. We are grateful to have been able to join us through Our passion for fighting games and playing among us at online events_.

_ We've been working hard preparing for our return to Las Vegas, hoping that day I'll get earlier than late. Fortunately, the time has come to announce that Evo will return next year, from August 5 to 7, 2022_.

Of course, it is not necessary to say that we, as always, will be covering the event so that you are up to date with everything that is cooked in the esports in all its areas.
